Celebrating our Royal Patronage
Royal Recognition for outstanding training
48 UK organisations celebrated the Princess Royal Training Awards with HRH Princess Anne on 28 April.
The whole visit showed our two Princess Royal Training Awards in real life and how from an initial concept years ago we’ve developed the super skilled workforce we have today. A very special day which the Apprentices and trainers will never forget.

What we do: innovate, celebrate & evaluate
Mental Health Awareness
City & Guilds Foundation’s Lauren Roberts talks to Training Journal about the increase in mental health problems in young learners, as many come to sit exams for the first time without having sat a formal assessment before.
1 in 3 prisoners has neurodiverse traits, and a lack of support in prisons can lead to an increased risk of reoffending. We invited charities working in the criminal justice system ‘train the trainer’ course to help improve outcomes.
We are making significant progress against our impact ambitions to help individuals into secure and sustained employment, strengthen organisations, and create skilled and productive societies.
